This is my 1988 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z. I purchased it from the previous owner through a mutual friend Shane, aka Mac. I bought it sight unseen basically, though I had seen a few pictures of it. The car was located in West Virginia... quite a ways from it's new home in Connecticut. I already had an 87 IROC when this car went up for sale, but I had always loved the gun metal grey Camaros and the price was too good to pass up. So after a little trickery played on my friend Bill who previously owned my 87 IROC and now owns it again thanks to his wonderful wife, I was able to purchase the car.

The nickname comes from the fact that AFTER I had bought the car, my friend Mac said something about it being infested with Black Widow spiders.. "I told you about that.. right?" He had failed to mention it. Luckily for me I never did see one, but I thought the name was fitting.
